Link charities for administrative purposes

Use this form to apply to link two or more charities that are connected.

Before you start

Charities that are connected or have the same trustee board can apply to be linked – this means they can prepare just one set of accounts and share a charity number, for example. Read about the benefits and limitations of linking with another charity, and find out if your charity qualifies:

We won't process this form if your charity is registered but not up to date with its filing obligations.

What you will need to tell us

You will need to have the following to hand:

  • names and registration numbers of the charities to be linked
  • details of whether you want to link the charities because they share a trustee board or because they deliver the same over-arching service
